  • Jesus is a harbor chick. This is *not* photoshoped

A 72 foot tall statue in Denver, since the picture is not large enough to clearly show, on the golden crown is the word "jehovah" and Lady Liberty has had her face replaced by Jesus.

The face is not Jesus's. Also, it's in Memphis, Tenn., not Denver, Colo.

While it's still ****ing ridiculous, at least get your details right.

I find their imagery disturbing and blasphemous. It is an afront to freedom-loving people everywhere.

              Mixed feelings about this.

Christiannity and politics are not supposed to be mixed together. This can lead to paganism(as idolatry of nation/government/state).

Or a belief that Christianity is worthy of the same consideration as ideals of freedom...

If you find this already offensive, how do you like that?

It's actually in East Germany, at the theater in Greifswald.

Evil people say, that it's our welcome for Dub-Dub, who July 14th will meet with Merkel in Stralsund, East Germany (not far from Greifswald).

People who know it better, say that it's just part of the scene setting for the musical "Hair", the premiere of which is - you guessed it - July 14th.

Although I'm somewhat sure, that the latter explanation is correct, I gladly admit myself to be a follower of the former.

                          Here's another photo.
