That movie could have easily lost an hour and lost nothing of significance. The cannibals. The ****ing sword fight in a god damn wheel.
And there was no plot. A premise, but no plot. A premise, and a whole bunch of filler. And what's with the East India Company being evil?

1. It definitely felt more cluttered than the first movie. Too many special effects for their own sake. And yeah, the mill wheel scene went on far too long.
2. Nonetheless, the gang of 14 YO girls I saw the movie with (along with some other parents) nonetheless thought it was great.
3. That adults who ARENT along for the ride with kids are watching this movie, and on opening weekend, well, hmmmm

The loose ends felt more like the second 'Back to the Future' movie.
This is what happens when you make a great first movie, it makes gobs of money, and you say, 'There's gotta be a trilogy in there somewhere...'
