Help me fix trillian

This is getting really irritating: either Trillian doesn't load on startup, or it loads twice. I've played around with msconfig for ages (and the startup menu), and the problem is that there are two Trillian entries, both pointing to C:\PROGRA~1\Trillian\trillian.exe: one says "Startup" and the other says "Common Startup." If I enable one, when I reboot they are both enabled (and two instances of Trillian are running.) If I disable one, when I reboot both are disabled. I get the same effect from switching the option within Trillian itself.

Otherwise, delete both entries, and then just copy the Trillian shortcut to Startup.

I don't want to go that far - I've got a lot of settings that I'd have to tweak exactly right again.

I've done that. Or rather, there's only actual shortcut file, but two entries for it in msconfig. I can't delete those. I've deleted and replaced the startup file, to no avail.

You can preserve your tweaked settings if you don't delete the folder after uninstall - they're all in the XML in the trillian\users folder. Copy it somewhere else just to be safe.
