You try a few blood baths and see how clean you get. Frankly, as long as I'm stealing a few precious years at a time to survive, I'm doing it the way that requires the least number of showers.
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

Nah, the messy thing isn't a problem. What really is a problem in this (and the 20'ieth) century is to find enough REAL virgins
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

He appears to be kissing the kid's liver. Does Putnin own stock in a Vodka distillery? Do kids that age drink Vodka in Russia? I note that all of the kids appear to have supermodel physiques.

Sheesh, buncha puritan nitpickers. Has it already occured to you that hysterical paranoia wrt physical contact is not common everywhere? Putin is just showing affection, that's all.

First time I feel compelled to defend Putin BTW. Amazing that people constantly have the urge to get worked up about non-issues.

At home the kids like to blow on my belly to have a giggle and me and my wife does it as well to them but to a kid that you don't know? I would be pissed if some stranger came up and did that to my kids. You can call it paranoia if you wish but to me a stranger should not be doing things like that. It's just creepy. I don't know about Russians but they way the article read, there were a lot of people that thought it very odd to say the least.

Odd? Maybe, but creepy? No. I don't think I'd be up in arms and be on standby to sue for sexual harassment just because someone shows affection in his own way.
If Putin were 30 years older I doubt anyone would be crying foul, since we sort of accept that older people haven't been brought up in atmosphere that automatically links anything beyond a handshake to physical abuse.

Showing affection in their own way can cover a lot of ground. I don't have a problem with most physical contact and I'm definitly not prudish but I would definitly have a problem if any stranger came up to my kids, lifted their shirts and kissed their stomach. I don't care if your 80 or 12 I would have a problem with it and I would think most rational people would. Again I'm talking about strangers and I don't care if he is famous he is a stranger. Is it ok for family? well that all depends on the physical contact and what age. That is completely my opinion and I don't claim to speak for the rest of the world.

Do I think Putin meant anything harmful? Probably not. Is this acceptable in Russia? I'm not Russian so I couldn't say but from the article it seemed to shock most of the people there and he had to explain himself so I'm assuming I'm not the only one who thought it looked out of place for a grown man to be kissing a boy that he was not familiar with. That I might expect from a grandpa, dad, uncle, but from a stranger?

Why don't you try that tomorrow in your country and report to us how it went.

Looked to me like his lips missed its intended target. I guess Russian porn isn't porn to them.

What's the chance I can do this to Maria Sharapova? She's less than half my age after all.

It's no cultural differences really, unless all russians like to touch boys like kittens.

                          Who knows, maybe they do.

Obviously the kiss had a devastating effect on the boys hygiene
The Izvestia daily, which tracked down Nikita, discovered that he had refused to wash after that kiss.

Ok, so what's the problem then? Even to you it's obvious he was just showing affection.
