US fluid ounces, which are slightly smaller than imperial fluid ounces. A brit pint is a little over 16 US fluid ounces, AFAIK. A bottle or can of beer is 12 US fluid ounces. A case of beer is 2 dozen cans of beer.
Liters are referred to very rarely, even though they are listed in addition to fluid ounces on food/drink containers.
