  • Tough break to have to sub the keeper. But turned out to be a bad gamble that the goal would stand up and not sub in Messi.

      • This was the PERFECT final game! Fantastic game!
No need to play any further games - nothing can top that!

        • Now Germany has a reasonably easy road to the finals, having to take on Italy or Ukraine... while Brazil has to beat France, and then presumably England ... wonder if that will tire them out too much for the final game

This should've been the final. Good game. A bit too tactical in the first half, but it got better.

The perfect combination, two of the best teams available but we were slightly better (or had more luck, whatever)

But looks like the Argentinians have won too often in the past, if you consider that they wanted to start a brawl against the german team after it was clear that this time they lost

              • Does anyone know why Heinze was so angry? I mean, he plays for the Scum so he should be able to handle losing big games - what else was there?

Well remember, Italy has this amazing ability to suck for an entire game, but keep the game scoreless, then get a penalty call in the last few minutes to win .

                    Definitely,
both of the Teams would have deserved to be in the final

Uhm, no, it was the ref that dissapeared that they wanted to kill, the germans team and security, were just in the way.
