The best part of the game was the adidas commercials (that I think are great). I started watching the recording at the end of the first half and caught up to the live broadcast by minute 70 by fast forwarding through all the midfield 'play'.

worst game ever, streller should never again play one minute for the national team. the only thing he does it foul. everytime the ball is within 10 meters, he gets called for a foul. why the hell did kuhn take out frei right before penalty kicks were to be taken. frei is the one who takes them in game situations.

djourou horrible, good thing he was taken out, but it burned a substitution. too many shots taken from 20 yards out, these guys thought they were gerrard or something. lets be honest, switzerland didnt deserve to go on

I think the Swiss side should always stay far away from the ball, in keeping with their neutrality.

We were awful in both of those qualifying tournaments and would have embarrased ourselves had we qualified. Both times I gave up on the team long before the qualifiers were decided. When we qualify for major tournaments I want us to have a competent team. While we still have good players, the degredation of the team over the last four years has been appalling.

Switzerland have certainly proven temselves competent in defence. This doesn't change that there has been a significant rise in the number of cases of narcolepsy reported during and in the immeadiate after math of many of Switzerlands performances. Now that is scientific fact - there's no real evidence for it - but it is scientific fact.

if Magnin really thinks all of switzerland should be proud of the team, he's had a drink or two too many after the game. this team went out with the loudest whimper ever. they didnt play up to their level, magnin hit cross after cross and free kick after free kick into row T, when iwas looking through the lineup again I had forgotten that patrick muller was in the game, I dont remember seeing him once anywhere on the field. streller a complete waste, does crouch get called for as many fould as streller does? downright appaling, the whole team should be ashamed of themselves after this performance

That move really confused the Hell out of me. Seemed incredibly wierd.
