Asher is just pissed off because he got pwnd in yet another car thread.

I got pwned? You made up blatant lies and let the thread drop when confronted...

Someone should create a debate thread just for Asher. This thread will not have just one topic. There will be many subjects, including Apple vs Mac, the Futility of Philosophy, American Cars vs Japanese Cars, Snipping vs Not Snipping, How PWNed UR is, How Stupid Apolyton is, etc...

And the point of this thread will be for Asher to take on as many opponents as possible at once, and see if he can come out on top. This will provide good debate for some of us and mindless entertainment for the rest of us.

But most importantly, it will mean that Asher will no longer have any reason to pop into every little thread to insert his perpetually argumentative and asinine opinions.

Gee... another thread diving for the cellar once the trolls show up...

Enough guys. Take it to another site, but enough of your constant bickering here!

Uh. Yeah. My post wasn't really productive. Probably shouldn't have made it.

Of course it did, but it's not really appropriate here. Also, don't call me Lori.

$500 was just your lowest expense, so far!

I get by very well now without a car, and although it's a bit inconvenient, I am much happier and have more money for other things.

I've gotten along very well without a car for most of my life, but having a girlfriend who goes to school in Pittsburgh (when I live around DC) makes that a trickier situation. Also, having a car simply gives you so much more freedom.

Sometimes the alternators are shoe-horned in there so you practically have to pull the engine to change them. I went through 4 alternators + 5 batteries + engine mounts that I believe were broken during the repairs + various other electric and electronic "widgets" with my last Mercury (I'll never buy another american car) at about $700/pop.

Busses or trains must run between these two cities.

For some local freedom use a bicycle or moped.
