So, pretty much, you're saying I'm throwing my vote away by voting third party.
When I live in Illinois, a state that has always, and will always, vote Democratic by a hefty margin.
When I lived in Georgia, a state that has in recent memory voted Republican in national elections by a hefty margin.
In every election I've participated in, my vote has not counted, nor has it mattered, due to the simple fact that I've lived in states where there is an overwhelming majority in one direction or another.
In every election I've participated in, my vote has done nothing to effect change because the outcome was a foregone conclusion anyway.
Since my vote doesn't matter anyway, why the **** should I vote anything other than my conscience, which won't let me vote Democratic?
