    Wow... this national anthem is great . The singer for the Edmonton Opera just stopped singing "Oh, Canada" and held up the mic, so you could hear the crowd signing. Absolutely brilliant!

    And some of them (more than the amount of Americans I'd bet in the crowd) even sang along with the "Star Spangled Banner".

      It's been a great series for fans and the sport. Oilers fans started belting it out earlier in the playoffs.

      There were quite a few people in Carolina singing O Canada last game.

            Carolina has sure played stinkily up until the last few minutes of the period. Let's hope they make the third more interesting.

                              Yowza! What a game.

                              I was fortunate enough to score a ticket to this one, as well. Excellent seats, fantastic company (nothing like meeting a couple of random guys and belting out some chants with 'em), and great action. An excellent home-game sendoff.

                              It was nice to see both the Peca and Horcoff lines producing. Stoll-Samsonov-Dvorak almost got on the board, too, but were held back by DVo's inability to finish. I love the guy, but he just grips the stick too tight when it comes to scoring.

                              Markkanen played great. He deserved a star. He kept the Oilers alive at the end of the second.

                              For the Canes, Cole was amazing. Very inspirational.
