I always wondered what Barry's stats would have been, had he had a line like Dallas'. He had a lot of rushes for -2yds, because the Lions' line didn't always control the line of scrimmage. Sometimes he'd still get away and get positive yds, but not always.
If he had had a line that would get a push of at least 1-2 yds, so that just by falling forward he'd have a minimum rush of 3-4 yds, damn. Give him a little bit of daylight so he could get into the secondary? Look out, end zone.
Now I just need to find a shadow where that happened and bring back some DVDs with Barry highlights.

dont get me wrong guys i agree barry had the style to make somthing out of nothing. he did that all on his own, and i dont agree he lost his heart to play, just the will. he was one if no the best rb a team that sucked could have. that right there shows where his heart was he wasnt in the game for the money other wise hed have left for a winning team.
Emmit on the other hand had a good line and a good team but he was also a gret player in his own right. he did stuff that barry couldnt and didnt do, just like barry did stuff that emmeit couldnt do i say all in all they were both equal in stuff they could do well. they both deserve where they are at.
And for the record I dont think barry deserves more recgonization because the team he played for sucked.When you find yourself arguing with an idiot, you might want to rethink who the idiot really is.
