    What's it about?

I find it hard to believe a movie with a big name star could bomb. Because even so far this year, really bad movies still have great opening weekends, and with world wide box office sales, they do break a profit.
You see, this is why people complain about good movies like X-3 or even RotS. They forget just how bad a bad movie is.

You could not like the diologue in Sith, but it doesn't make it a bad movie... it just means it has bad diologue.

You could be dissapointed that X-men did do enough for charater development or didn't go far enough with the plot lines, but it was not a bad movie and not in the company of these other piles of trash.

Can you honestly say that X-3 was as bad as Batman & Robin?

In what way can you say Battlefield Earth was better than Revenge of the Sith?

I agree that Wild Wild West is the worst. Ugh, that was terrible!
But it had a GIANT MECHANICAL SPIDER! That's AWESOME!

Yes, but REVOLTING dialogue combined with few redeeming factors (they didn't have enough ****ing Natalie Portman ) makes it a bad movie.

Batman & Robin (made for $125 million in 1997). If you ate a box of crayons and had dysentery, it would look like this film.

Independence Day is great! I have the special edition DVD which includes the UNCUT version. There's a whole Broken Family storyline with Academy Award Nominee (no lie!) Randy Quaid's scenes. Its terrible...but touching.

And Wild Wild West wasn't the worst. It should maybe be number 10. Otherwise I agree with the list.

Has anyone else noticed that Will Smith is in at least 3 of these movies?

                      Think about this:

If it's the only movie you've seen on a plane twice in one day, it's also the best movie you've ever seen, twice, on a plane, in one day.

                      ACK!

I'd take off "independance day" and add

                        League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

                        Time Machine: the Remake

Planet of the Apes: the Remake

                        those were just ****.

And Battlefield Earth may well have been the first modern movie to reach Ed Wood like levels of badness, a movie SO BAD that it becomes cultural kitsch.

Pluto Nash on the other hand...judging by the responses on this thread it passed beyond being bad. It was not even good at being a bad movie. I like 'Bad' movies....because there's two kinds of bad movie 1. So bad it's good 2. "Your next almbum, 'Shark Sandwich', recieved merely a two-word review, '**** Sandwich'...

It's generally not Will Smith's fault when his movies suck.

I disagree with that. I think some of his recent stuff has been top-notch, and you can't discount his Academy Award Nomination. Next he's playing a guy who went from homeless with his son to being a multimillion dollar stock executive or something, based on a true story.
