In theory, it is impossible. The US system does not allow the ousting for political reasons. Only legal ones (impeachment).Comment

The system is defined in a way that the president cannot be un-elected by parliament, save for legal causes. Most of your congressmen probably know this, hence they won't go about impeaching for blurry "popular opinion" reasons.

For a ruling like that to happen, there needs to be a catalyst, the same way Watergate was the catalyst that threw Nixon out of office.
What that "smoking gun" event would be it's hard to predict.
