We tend to have encyclopedic knowledge of certain subjects, which vary depending on the individual. We have a powerful visual imagination, which often entails an excellent memory as well (long story).
You'll make excellent cab drivers, then.

No. I believed they promoted paedophilia also. I thought it was obvious. Otherwise it's just too ****ing stupid.

The trouble with "objectivists" is that they took Rand way too seriously and imagined that she offered up some sort of blueprint for the ordering of society. She was writing about the dangers of communism through the use of exaggerated examples, among other things (steamy sex with ubermen).

Er, MRT, I don't "have" aspies, I am an aspie. It's also typically pronounced "ASP-ee," not "ASS-pie" or anything like that. Calling ourselves "asps," as in the poisonous snake, would not be very good PR. And "asper" sounds like it means "one who asps" or something.

From Elok's description, I'm an aspie.
And my main claim for aspieness is that I'm a moderate geek (who used to be a full-fledged geek), and that I feel that the rules serve me, rather than oppress me.

Either aspieness is something different from what Elok describes, or this "syndrome" is just a pompous word to describe a trait of character.

That's what syndromes, disorders, complexes, and such generally are - descriptions of character.
