Sure, a majority of the time people who are prepared for a roller coaster ride of sensual overstimulation and mind bending have a good time. I'd be willing to wager that the vast majority of people who are "dosed" don't have the same sort of pleasant memories.

A lot of eldery people take 'easy' jobs like that one just to stay active and have something to do. I can imagine that retirement may get a bit boring at that age.

Though I'm not sure about the severity of the punishment, this was definitely more than a silly prank.

I like special brownies, personally. But if someone gave me drugs w/o TELLING me, I'd be pissed off. If I'd never tried the drug, I'd probably be scared as hell, too.

I've also had *really* intense highs b/c of MJ in baked goods form. I can easily imagine someone being terrified if they didn't know what was happening. Heck, I was sorta freaked once and I knew damned well what I was doing.

VERDICT: seriously ****ed up. More than mere slap-on-wrist is warranted.

Not saying they shouldn't be punished, but 10 or 20 years is totally ridiculous. Meanwhile, a child molester gets out of any jail time because he's "too short".

I agree, 10 years is too harsh. I'm thinking some token time in jail (a month?) and a LOT of community service.

                  Unbelievable, It is beyond conception.

The judge said he was too short for prison life, what about the kids being too short to defend his attacks of molestation?

I dont care if your 6'6" and 300+ pounds, be a child molester and go to Prison, they got all kinds of justice inside prison walls

I think this belongs in Ozzy's pedophilia thread.

I think we need an Ozzy subsection; the board seems to be surviving on youth rights alone these days.

Yes, most of mine have been. However, I've had one absolutely terrifying experience on LSD and one on pot, as well as the really annoying one I had on brownies.

I was an experienced LSD tripper, but I'd never hallucinated. Not once. This time, damnit, I was gonna hallucinate, and I took what I thought would be enough acid to make me see something. Unfortunately for me, the four hits I thought I was taking, was more like eight. The most I'd ever had before was two. It was, without a doubt, the most horrible experience of my life, and that includes losing dear loved ones.

Someone did that to me (though I have to accept part of the blame). He thought he was doing me a favor by giving me a "bonus," not knowing what I had intended. Didn't bother to warn me how potent the stuff really was.

I was almost killed by one of my co-trippers and I still have the scars on my throat to prove it wasn't a hallucination.

And I still didn't ****ing hallucinate. Everybody else did. I was able to keep things together long enough to get help. And I had to make the worst call of my life to my parents.

I haven't touched the stuff since.
