I'm glad the Aussies pulled out the win, after the non-call on Japan's goal. I saw it just before I went to work, and I thought the Japanese player clearly impeded the goalie - should have been a foul. Maybe the ref got screened by the group of players, though.

I took a long lunch to catch the USA-CR game. What a disappointment! I got home a few minutes after the game started, turned on the TV. While it warms up, the sound kicks in before the picture, and they were talking about being down. WHAT?!?! Then the picture comes in, and USA is already down 1-0, 6min into the game.

We were flat the whole game, never came on with any energy or desperation, even after getting down 2-0. Too bad Reyna hit the post and missed the opportunity to tie it at 1s.

Bad for goal differential to give up 3. Question for CR is how long Koller will be out after going down with a hammy injury.
