  • Why Cam'Ron is the greatest rapper... (involves Paedophiles)

Some of you may remember me posting about Cam'ron a year and a half ago in connection with pink being a banned gang color in schools... For those who don't quite remember, here's a bullet list of some notable things about him:

    - self-proclaimed Don of the Pink Mafia
    - regularly wears pink and purple
    - debut album featured him in leather over-alls holding a giant hammer in front of what looks like the inside of a steelworks
    - sold his pink range rover on ebay (for a tidy profit)
    - singles include covers of "Girls just want to have fun", "diamonds and pearls", and "Oh what a night" as well as the original "Get Em Girls"
    - partner in a company which sells purple-colored liquor
    - founder of the rap group the Diplomats aka DipSet, a group of rappers famous for saying questionable things and then shouting "No Homo" after saying them

ANYWAY... here's what he's up to more recently:

This website is for sale! gigwise.com is your first and best source for all of the information you’re looking for. From general topics to more of what you would expect to find here, gigwise.com has it all. We hope you find what you are searching for!

US rapper Cam’ron has revealed that he is to start his own crusade to rid the world of all forms of paedophilia and paedophiles.

Apparently the American MC was inspired recently by a news segment on US channel MSNBC on adults using the internet to obtain illegal porn and coerce children into meeting them.

He now plans to start patrolling the internet where he hopes to deceive the prospective paedophiles into meeting him upon which he hopes to film them for an upcoming DVD he wants to release.

He told MTV: "When they get there, it's gonna be me and (my manager) Big Joe like, 'What the hell are you doing, you damn pervert? What the **** is wrong with you, coming to meet a 13-year-old boy?' We're gonna talk to them and not let them leave until we find out what's wrong with them."

Cam’ron hopes to set up and film ten of the meetings before putting them out for the public to watch. Unsurprisingly, the police will not be involved in the project.

and because a picture always helps...

    No Homo sounds awfully gay.
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

Are you sure this isn't just an excuse for Cam'ron to go on kiddie fiddling websites?

What does this have to do with his rap abilities?

Thats the bottom line for me, I don't go to musicians for social commentary.

we're not talking musicians here who just play instruments... we're talking a rapper. he writes/raps so he has to say something.

i just can't wait until the soundtrack comes out for his paedophilia DVD (I guarentee you he'll have one)

Rappers say something, but that doesn't mean they have something to say. Seems to me they generall don't.

I should clarify- I dig social commentary in lyrics, what I find laughable is otherwise vapid "artists" grasping onto whatever their agents say is a hot topic such as landmines or furs, in order to stay in the news.

honestly, i think Cam'Ron's motivation is that he figures he can make a lot of money selling these DVD's. He and his DipSet cohorts, despite being multi-platinum artists with record deals, put out 1-2 mixtapes a month (they're incredibly prolific)... basically bootlegging their own work! and they grasp at whatever will make them money, including a straight-to-dvd film which they just released, and a brand of novelty liquor. Cam'Ron probably figures here's a way to make more money. And I guarentee you he'll make a huge profit off of this paedophilia DVD venture.

even just out of curiousity, i'm sure many people even on Apolyton wouldn't mind checking it out.
