i was actually looking for puzzles but I ran into this:
It has two types of tests, a standard IQ test and then one that's supposed to better differentiate between people of higher IQ's.
My question is what's with the knowledge questions on there? I thought IQ tests were supposed to test "capacity to learn" but really more reasoning ability sans learned knowledge yet these tests have questions concerning things that could only be learned (like definitions of esoteric geometric theorems). And whats up with mathematical questions anyway? I'm sure that ability to answer those questions and a high IQ were statistically correlated but if you don't know math, then what?
Anyway, I took both tests and got a 130 on both. I've been awake for 22 hrs straight though what with working night shift so I'll still tell people my IQ is 140
