You spend less money while paying cash, and with the pauperization of many middle-class people, it's very modern indeed

I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

actually I think he's talking about checks in the supermarket line.

What I'm very ****ing pissed off about is both banks for my car loan and my home loan charge $12 and $15 service fees to pay online. WTF we live in the 21st century people. Why am I paying to pay online? And one of the banks insisted on using Internet explorer. That's an even worse crime against humanity. Get with the program people, nobody uses IE anymore.

                    **** I'm pissed at that.

So I still send checks in the mail. A 39 cent postage stamp vs $15 to pay online. Which do you think I would choose?

I'm more pissed when the customers give $100 bills, or give $10 when the cost is $9.01 and the like. URGH. That's FAR more annoying than checks.

As well, some old people don't have a clue as to how the credit cards are scanned in. In the end, checks arn't that much of a problem. It's just old people who are the problem, as usual.

                        Cheques are so last millennium.

Well paying by EFTPOS means that you have to pay the whole $9.97 amount whereas if you pay cash it'll get rounded down to $9.95, so savings are kinda minimal.

But then some places do deals for cash. Make it cheaper and the such, but thats becoming less frequent here anyways.
