to shoot people who still make purchases by writing checks.


We don't use horse and buggy anymore for transportation.

Most of us don't use typewriters anymore for writing papers.

Most of us no longer use a record player to listen to music.




It's time for the uncivilized who use checks to stop using them unless they want me to shoot them. Or in the very least, just chop both of their hands off so they can't write checks out anymore.

I have no problem with people who write checks from their own home to pay their bills (at this point, I use online pay for all monthly expenses).


What I have a headache with, is as a cashier, I deal with some people everyday who for some unfathomable reason, think it's a GOOD idea to still write checks out for purchases at the damn checkout lane.

It's more efficient and convenient for the customer himself, for the cashier, and for other customers in line behind, to use cash, debit card, or credit card.

Really guys . . . . . join the modern world.
