That sounds so gay.
I never managed to acquire a taste for the stuff, even after living in Japan and Germany for two years each.

as for hard liquors. I just can't get into them very much. They are okay in mixed drinks and such. Such as vodka in screwdrivers. And I've drank southern comfort in Dr. Pepper. I've also drank it straight. I've drank straight whiskey and all that. but it's so strong, you really can't drink it fast. Or maybe it's just me. I'm a pansy. But at least I'm not an alcoholic.
And then you have the tequilas like Patron and Cuervo. People swear by Patron. But I really can't notice much difference in taste between the varieties of Patron. When something is that strong, you can't even taste it. At least beer you can taste. And in the case of Newcastle Brown Ale and Samual Adams, they taste good.
why drink twice as many beers? that costs twice as much.
Though I did have some Molson's beer from Canada that was supposedly super strong. You couldn't buy it in the U.S. My friend smuggled it accross the border. It was too much like that malt liquor ****. crap.
I like beer around 5 or 6 %. Just checked and Newcastle is 4.7%. So that's about where I like it.
You should try Scaldis from Belgium. 12% ABV.

Cheap vodka and orange juice is about as cheap, less nasty, and higher-proof.
EDIT: as compared to junk beer, I mean. I don't really do vodka, I prefer gin and tonic or Glenfiddich. Or mead.
i cant imagine drinking this as refreshing when i come home from working out, or being at a ballgame. i do love bloody mary's though

all non beer drinkers and nay sayers should drink more beer
If you cant appreciate a nice ale in a warm beer garden, then you need to work harder at it
Tried that when I lived in Germany for two years. I figured if I couldn't acquire a taste for it during that time then it was never going to happen. Besides, I got tired of all that vomiting.

Maybe you weren't drinking the right stuff.
I never really liked beer till I was about 19 or 20..
What did you used to drink before then? I am sure you used to drink beer when you were younger than that...
I never drank younger than that. It's illegal. . But seriously, I didn't have a lot of friends who could get me booze. It was easier to get a hold of marijuana, than alcohol. So I mostly smoked pot in high school.

Yes, but that real man look went into the toilet with all of the vomit.
