But seriously, what can be done about Iran. Clearly they are going after a nuke. And given the fact that both them as well as Israel are nuts enough to use them if pushed to the limit I don't think that is an option.

Any dreamers here with an idea of how to get these two countries to talk ? I mean, if the US and the USSR could do it, why not these two ey ?

The USSR(besides Stalin) never wanted the complete destruction of America and Americans never really wanted the Russian people killed.

Iran wants Israel destroyed.

Vesayen, Iran wants the political entity of Israel detroyed. It wants this in order that refugees may return. Not going to happen if Iran uses nuclear weapons to destroy Israel.

(I am not arguing in favour of Iran's aims - just attempting to state those in relation to Israel.)
