Your argument doesn't really work though. Alcohol causes more accidents, yet people are allowed to drink. Old people cause all sorts of accidents, yet we don't put them to death.
All sorts of things can have negative consequences for others if used improperly, but that doesn't mean they should be banned – just that improper use of them should be illegal.
One is prohibited from drinking and driving no? It's an entirely different thing to say that drink/drugs should be legal when there's no risk of harm to others as a direct consequence, and saying they should be legal when there is. I think it's reasonable to say that 3 tonnes of metal travelling at 70mph is a "risk to others" at the best of times .

Thanks one and all, I ended up with 3 hours sleep last night. I again just wanted people to know that I am not judging at all, been there,,done that with dugs and booze (and with judging of which I have -0- right to)
I just wanted to share so maybe , just maybe someone might think twice before getting behind the wheel loaded.

There needs to be similiar informative campaigns against alcohol and abortion.
