Vesayen, yes I believe that's what happened. The artist would simply create the artwork, and someone would post something very simple to carry on the story.

It results in something very amusing.

Don't get me started on Apolyton - but another reason why we should begin one.

I really am willing to do the artwork, but someone has to come up with an interesting beginning before I can start the first screen.

Obviously any poly story starts at the poly forums. To be specific a polytubby sitting at the computer, when suddenly the apolyton forums turn evil and infect his brains, turning him into a slave to the myriad wills of Apolyton! He must go into a quest into the great unknown! The terrifying and confusing world beyond the interwebs! (aka the real world)
