And it definitely depends on where in London too...I would expect the profile in somewhere like Stockwell or Bethnal Green to be completely different to somewhere like Eltham or Orpington...

Define 'worse'?
Imagine if we had received no immigrants in the past century. What economic problems we'd have had. And what a f**king boring country this would be too...
The only thing that tends to happen after a few generation is assimmilation, but fortunately not just in one direction - something new is added to our culture too

I can say a few things about the situation becoming 'worse'.
Actually most of the signs of things getting worse come from 'indigenous' Brits: the so-called chavs, the large numbers of old drunks and their pubs, the 'rude' culture, the sense of alienation, a kind of tiredness and world-weariness, etc.
Britain is an exhausted old country that is suited to Christianity and Victorianism. It simply cannot be turned into a multicultural paradise like Brazil or even the USA. Britain is a nation of bishops and shop-keepers. I foresee the white British being completely replaced by their former colonial subjects and Eastern Europeans - and what's more, the white Brits will jump for joy at the chance to wipe themselves off the face of the earth!

Last time I was in London (mid 90s), it was overwhelmingly white. What, have they shipped all those light skinned folk out in the interm?

Does anyone remember the Monty Python skit "The Bishop"? You know, the one where the bishop cruises the streets beating up bad guys? ( I believe it was fairly close to the episode that had the skit about "Hell's Grannies". ) Perhaps that's what he's talking about."I say shoot'em all and let God sort it out in the end!

The white flight phenomenon means that by 2011 London will be a darkie majority.
Column A is the 2001 census percentage 'white' (I trust the BNP to provide the correct figures of course), and column F is predictions for the 2011 census results. The middle columns are a highly scientific correction factors that facilitated the estimate

Column B in the table is the percentage given for the White-Other sub-group. These are people who are White but not British (i.e. a Kosovan economic migrant) and therefore do not qualify as native British for the purposes of this exercise.
Column C is the notional native British group for people who are both White and British (British in a geographical sense and hence inclusive of Irish) derived by subtracting column B from column A.
Column D is a refinement of the notional native British group, which makes the assumption that 1 in 20 White British Londoners do not belong to an ethnic group indigenous to the British Isles (i.e. are not English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish) as at the time of compilation of the 2001 Census.
Column E makes the assumption that the decline of the notional native British Londoner group, as presented in column D, is declining at a rate of 1% per year. As column E purports to express the percentage of native British Londoners as of now, 2005, then the corresponding totals per borough have been reduced by 4% (to reflect the four elapsed years since 2001). In other words column E is Land and Peoples estimate of the size of today’s native British Londoner group for each of London’s boroughs.
You may now laugh to your hearts content.
