A bull fight if you're into that. It's also nice to browse the various tourist junk shops.

Cross the border legally and then try to sneak back with a bunch of illegals. That should be entertaining for a while.

No they won't. Just drive to the border crossing, walk across, then take a taxi. The taxis will take you where ever you want in the city for around $2.

I guess some of them might let you pay more so they'll let you. TJ is mostly right next to the border so it isn't worth driving as 90% of the attractions are with in 5-10 miles of the border. If you want to go further south then highway 1 goes down Baja and it is a very well maintained road abet at the price of a $2.50 toll every 10-15 miles. If you like deep sea fishing then it's worth it to drive down to Ensenada or maybe to try some lobster at Puerto Nuevo but that's about it. They do have a wine country near Ensenada but it is second rate compared to Temecula on the US side of the border.

Here are a few more ideas for things to do/try in San Diego:

-If you like beer then San Diego is beer heaven at least according to several online polls. Pizza Port in Solana Beach was named the best brew pub in the US and has some great California style pizza. It's a bit of a surfer joint without high class pretensions but the beer really is world class. Two other great local breweries are Ale Smith and the Stone Brewing Company. There are a half dozen others but they're mostly unremarkable.

-Check out www.signonsandiego.com, which is the local newspaper's website, to see what is going on in the city.

-I always thought hang gliding at the Torrey Pines glider port was kind of fun.

-San Diego Magazine has a list of "The Best of San Diego" which lists many great restaurants and places to hang out. http://www.sandiegomag.com/issues/ju...aturea0605.asp

-Today is the 5th of May so head to a Mexican restaurant and party down. I suggest any of a dozen places in Old Town.

-The Union-Tribune also did a "best of" poll which you can find hear. http://entertainment.signonsandiego.com/best/categories

I'm not really sure what you're looking for so if you have questions about a specific topic then feel free to ask.
