Some of you may recall that Britain (reasonably) wants access to the more JSF tech. Indeed, there is a threat for a total pull out of the JSF program if the USA doesn't make with the all-inclusive deal.
Well, if Britain is "forced" to pull out of the JSF program, that would leave the CVF high and dry without a airplane to fly off of it (Talks of Rafales or Navalised Eurofighters notwithstanding). If we have no airplane, why have a Carrier? Off to the chopping block you go.
Thoughts? This is the sort of thing that occurs to me on long duty days.
