That's $5,000 less than "$16,000" you mentioned. Is this car severely tricked out?
    16000$ CAD for a V6.

Both, but hers is just as a garantee, or a motivation if we could say so. I wont take her car, ever. If he misses a payment she'll back ME up not him, and he prabably wont, he doesn't to dispoint her anymore than he has now.

Oh, and JohnT, the contract is signed, by him, me, her and 2 witnesses.

You also have to take into consideration that I'm losing interest and cash flow. If I want to use the money for something else, like buy another house, go on vacation, invest in something, I cant use that money. If he gets a loan in a bank, its 12% right now for 11k$, so 15% is not much.

Again, yes I have 2 cars in collateral, but in reality, I will only take his if something ever happens.

I repeat again, her car is just an extra motivation for him.

And no I wont lose her as a friend, her and I go way back and its already agreed, I did this to help him, and if something ever happens, its his fault.

Seems to me you already made up your mind in advance of posting this thread. Not a single poster has advised you to get involved in this...

Anyway, since the deal is on, good luck to you Spec.

And my apologies if some of my posts come across as hostile to you. Reading through the thread again, i realise I could've been more diplomatic on a couple of occasions.

You know what, I probably did have my mind already set...I have to much of a big heart. And I didn't want to let HER down.

I don't know you but IMHO you are a fool.

Good luck, Spec, but I (along with everybody else, it seems) think you made a mistake.

Here's hoping it works out ok.

                              Thank you.

You should know, you're around our group a lot, it really justifies you calling me an idiot.
