BTW Vista is in the northern part of San Diego County and is known primarially as a place where middle class people went to in the 1980's and early 1990's in order to escape the high cost of housing in the city or where military families stationed at Camp Pendelton live. It tends to be very white, very conservative, and not especially well educated. I'm really not surprised that this sort of thing happened in Vista.
