There's nothing wrong with mandatory unionism. It's just a way of maximizing member bargaining power. It has it's downside of course, but life isn't perfect and the alternative in this case is often worse.Originally posted by SlowwHand

In that case it is reasonable to ask for no political material to be on the car. Or at least for it to be removed during work hours.
After all, if you use your car for business, it would be unreasonable for an employer to put up with an employee car decorated with pictures semi-naked women (unless this was the lap-dance business, or something else that involved semi-naked women).Only feebs vote.Comment

In fact, if there is a need for traditional unions, it's a sign that the society is not a communist one.
Look on the bright side, you are more likely as a worker to get subsidized lap-dances in a communist society, and that is a definite improvement over capitalism, where management are the only ones who waste company profits on sex workers.

That's why unions should not be permitted to manage. It didn't work for the USSR; it didn't work for our corporations in the 60's that had a board seat or two reserved for union representatives.
