If the States care with international suport(as I think they should and they do)the solution is very simple:
Show clear evidence that you are not there to get cheap oil and everybody will believe that you are there to defend democracy,tolerance and safety.

I have read 1441 several times. There's no mention, not once, of an invasion. And there's no mandate given to the US.
