True, but Israeli birth rates resemble eastern Europe whereas muslim birthrates resemble, well, the middle east. What they cannot take by arms they could soon take by demographics. I remember reading about this but I don't recall when it may hit the boiling point.

Israeli birth rates do not resemble Eastern Europe. They're not as high as the Arab ones but still well enough above the replacement level.

Also remember the immigration to Israel. We still have untapped millions sitting in the US, France, Argentine, etc. They add another few tens of thousands every year in a slow trickle.

Now that you mention it, I did forget to factor in immigration as well as emmigration. However, I was under the impression that emmigration was larger. Its true that the diasporia can be an untapped resource but for how long? Not everyone wants to immigrate.

Anyway, I found a link here that discusses what I was talking about. It appears the boiling point (or meltdown) could be by 2020.

Nah. I think that ever during the busy years of the Intifada immigration still outnumbered emmigration, not by much though. Now things are getting better. Sofer's main assumption is that immigration will dry up and I'm not sure this will happen with all the Muslim mess in Europe.

For example, here in Ashdod, for the last two years you get to hear French almost every day. And that is a new development.

Anyway, I agree that there is a demographic danger. I only hope that immigration will delay it enough for our government to start improving living conditions in Arab cities in the hope to bring a drop to their birth rates.

Doubtful. Especially if they know what they're doing.

I doubt it that it's a policy. Just educate the women and, voila, see the birth rates plunge. Educated women don't have babies. It worked every time so far.

Minorities should vote according to their political belief and not due to tribal preferences.
I agree completely. We've taken political correctness to a whole new level here. Guaranteed seats for the minorities
