If you put to much pressure on yourself you'll screw it up. Dont worry about it, if your ment to get it, you'll get it, and you will.

How you deal with pressure is a large component of leadership.

Yes.. and yes, dealing with pressure is part of leadership and any kind of work related stuff. I don't mind pressure, I work better in pressure, but it's just that.. this is all or nothing situation, make or break.. Too much on line for me personally. It's as if everything depends on this one.

But, I'll go there and try to nail it. It's not like I'll avoid it. I'll go and do it. It remains to be seen if I get it or not.

You have no control of the future, only the present.

As rah said, be confident and cool, and you will be fine.

that's so true.. I have no control, I should just let go. It's one of my problems. I try to let go.. this is my pre-game ritual of worries. Like said, I worry beforehand and then go relaxed and feeling good.

It's still not worth to make yourself physically sick over good news.

That's one of the main concern for newer supervisors. Many of them like to do the things and have a problem delegating. Not as big of an issue when you're supervising an assembly type line, but still an issue.
Ability to delegate is another somewhat critical skill from management's point of view.

And remember, this isn't the only opportunity that you will ever have. Just one of many. If not this one, then another. Enjoy the experience and learn what you can since this type of situation is likely to happen again regardless of the outcome of this one.
You were selected for the interview. There's a reason why, so have faith.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Well.. it's like this, if I don't get this experience, I'm sure to have plenty in the future, but if I miss this one, my work experience for over 4 months will be... equivalent to flipping burgers. I'd rather have this one, now.

Umm, this job is mostly delegating in front of problems. So, that's no problem. I mean, if it is to someone, man, they're in trouble

Also tips for dressing? I mean, it's not customary in here to put on a suit in this kind of an interview. I should come up with clothing that is not a suit, not too formal, yet not too.. daily. Smart but casual.

Also, in group interview, should I shake the hands of the observers? If they just watch us and say nothing, take notes, when we say goodbye to the interviewer, should I go to the observers, and shake their hands if no one else does it? That's something I don't know. I always shake the hand before I come in and afterwards and thank them for the opportunity, but I don't know about the observers.. it seems I should do that even if know one does it, but what if they just sit their and give hostile looks to us? I don't want to come off as a brown nose.

Spec, well, because I have what it takes to do the job succesfully? And I want the job badly. Is there even a need for more reasons?

YES... YES... YES... who cares what anybody else does.

After it's over, give them a firm hand shake, while looking them straight in the eye, and thank them for their time.

If offered the opportunity it's always a good idea to shake hands and offer thanks for the opportunity. (never make is sound like a "golly" I'm so surprised I was asked for it) But if not offered a good opportunity, don't appear over eager.

Right right.. that was what I was thinking.. if they remain distant observers, I might just go on with the program. But others will be meeting with my hand, if they want it or not!

Besides, I think I know the HR person. She's hot. I want to touch her, even in platonic way .
