How did it go? In general, it went fine. I think I was one of the best. However, I don't think I'll get it. There were few who were better than me with experience, academics etc etc.. so .. I don't think I'll get this one. Few of them had that exact position last summer and the supervisors remembered them and they had some nice inside laughs. So.. I'm definitely an underdog and I feel tha tI won't make it. But I gave it a shot, I performed well and I'm happy with that.. and I wasn't the worst, I think I was one of the better candidates after all, just not the very top.

Oh yeah and I started the whole thing BADLY. First off, I had to run to the bathroom before it began, because I splashed some food on my shirt ... I think the stain wasn't too visible after I washed and dried it a bit. But that just started the whole thing bad for me. And the first thign I sad was extreme mistake, they asked who my supervisor was last year and I got his first name wrong .. I mean, like two letter mistake but still.. then we laughed uncomfortably about it.

Other than that, I think I aced it. I was awesome. But I was in tough crowd and there were few who were like... made for it and had the whole package ready. So.. I'll be looking for a job, flipping burgers.

Thanks for the advices though and support. They'll call me either way, in the next few weeks, but I just don't myself getting it now, but you never know.

Yes, you never know. Your mistakes might have actually worked to your benefit since you seemed to have recovered from them. "Hmm, deals with diversity well"

heh, yes sure. I did recover. Also I had mostly different answers from the others. They usually did the 'same pretty much' and added few things whereas I usually had a different answer, not completely, but still, clearly not the same. So I hope that carries me.

There's one problem. I think the two supervisors really liked me, I think one liked me the best, when he was talking, he always talked to me and not the others. You couldn't make a mistake about that, he literally did not engage with anyone else, not even for few seconds.

However, as fine as that went, one of them clearly disliked me. I think when it comes down to it, he might veto me down. Also the HR person seemed to like me well.

Oh well. It was a great experience though, next time something like that happens, group interviews etc, I know what will happen. Besides, flipping burgers is cool stuff
