My plan is to run over 30 miles over spring break. Have 7 miles down but my current book (Angels & Demons) is almost over. I need a new book to listen to.

Lord of The Rings.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

He also hates Texans and Australians, he does diversify." ~ Braindead

Yeah...I'm not saying I like him that much and I think the character development is for the most part horrible, but Dan Brown at least keeps the story going so that there aren't long boring segments. It works well for when I am running and just want to zone out."Yay Apoc!!!!!!!" - bipolarbear

I recommend The Warlord Chronicles trilogy by Bernard Cornwell: Winter King, Enemy of God and Excaliber It's a complete re-working of the Arthurian legend and is excellently read by David Case.
I just finished the Terry Prachett diskworld novel Wyrd Sisters but I can't remember the name of the woman who read it. But funny, well written, insightful, and well read.
Jim Dale's reading of the Harry Potter books is supurb!
The best reader I ever heard is Edward Hermann's reading of C. Annie Prouxls' (sp?) Accordian Crimes. Warning: Like most of her books, there's not much of a plot, but there is great writing and great characters.

You know, some kids are volunteering their Spring Break to help in New Orleans.
Volunteering in Mississippi
I was going to go to Mississippi to help out actually, but one of my friends from Virginia was moving to Texas and I was going to help her. Then she ended up just getting married and getting a better job in Virginia. There wasn't enough time to register and pay the money to go to Mississippi."Yay Apoc!!!!!!!" - bipolarbear

As for the question you asked, James Patterson's Alex Cross books might be up your alley, not many boring segments and actual character development.I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara

Yeah, New Orleans sucks. Those people got what they deserved.
Even I wouldn't say that."And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man." -- JFK Inaugural, 1961
"Extremism in the defense of liberty is not a vice." -- Barry Goldwater, 1964 GOP Nomination acceptance speech (not George W. Bush 40 years later...)
