Remember to clean up afterwards, and you'll be fine.
Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!

As long as you're not on Dad's lap as you're doing it, I don't see why not.

My dad is quite computer illiterate, but this stuff tends to leave all sorts of stains on the computer.

Just don't infect his computer and you'll be fine.

              nice touch, there.

Seriously, does firefox register all visited files on a log, etc.?

I have no problem with people knowing I browse porn, I am not ashamed of it. but I don't think he'd appreciate me using his computer to do it, though I am not sure why, since I don't, ahem, pleasure myself with it.

When you're finished, go to Tools->Options->Privacy and erase the history, cookies, cache, and download history. That ought to cover all bases.

Download Opera and install it just for that purpose. Uninstall when done. Voila.

That's what I do, generally. just wanted to be sure. Installing some sort of protection might be a good idea, as well...

If he doesn't have a firewall on there then I'd suggest installing one, both for your benefit and for his.

I don't think he knows what are bookmarks.

Shortcuts are the bane of my existence -- every time I ask my mom to send me a file (usually a recipe), she invariably emails the shortcut to me.
