      • Well here we are after two more vicories for Alonso. Lets see if Richeliu have some pics for us.

Great unflawed races by FA. It seems really ovfer now. BTW that did Raikkonen in the last lap in Montreal? He was second and then...

          • A great weekend in Montreal

This was the view of Montreal we had from the stands. The spherical structure at the front is the US pavilion built for the 1967 World fair.

            • Speaking of which, the American contribution to F1 is getting better and better. We have Scott Speed racing for Toro Rosso, and... the Bud girls!

(I know: the pics are kinda ****ty but what are ya gonna do...)

                • Apart from the spectacular mass crash on the first lap it was a rather boring race. The Toyotas looked good though, and Liuzzi took his and Toro Rossos first points.

                    • Yeah, after frist turn it was a bit boring, but it had it's moments - Coulthardt's exit from the pit was not for the weakminded - guess it's shows the difference between old geezers with lot of experience and a newbie . Oh, and for some time I almost suspected him going for a zero stop strategy - 47 laps on first stint is a bit.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

                      • All that's needed now is a DNF from Alonso in one of the next couple of races and we might have a contest for the drivers championship.

                        • Yep, otherwise it is over since low performance at Indy (and at Canada but predictions failed there) was already expected by Renault. I bet Ferrari is worried about the new Renault engine mounted in Fisichella´s car. It is amazing he did third there using Michelin.

BTW i didnt see the start but it seems that Montoya crashed with Raikkonen. who was guilty?

                          • It was very tight going into turn two, and hard to say whether Montoya was to blame, but his was the first contact.

Juan Pablo Montoya ran into the back of his McLaren team mate Kimi Raikkonen. This probably did not much impress Dr Dieter Zetsche, the chairman of DaimlerChrysler, who had come to watch his nice grey cars in action. Alas, he was not going to see much of it as the two McLarens spun in unison. Montoya's car bumped into Button's Honda and knocked it sideways. At that very moment Nick Heidfeld was on the outside of Button trying to squeeze in towards the apex. His left rear tyre touched Button's front right and the BMW was in the air, rolling in dramatic fashion across the sandtrap.

I bet with you: 30US$ that BMW-SAUBER will be on podium at least one time this season.
