    The fur may be a sensory apparatus...the ocean floor is very dark after all.

    Does anyone else think that this looks like a much magnified version of a certain other kind of 'crabs', the itchier one?

              I was googling to see if their was any more info as to what bacteria were living in the setae (since that may give an idea as to their function) but "K. hirsuta" is also a well studies plant! It seems like a badly named species to me. Kiwa hirsuta returns almost nothing, btw, which is more proof of how crappy google has become.
              We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI
