Anyone want to speculate what the "fur" is for? maybe it's for insulation. It lives near thermal vents. Maybe it's adapted to the temperature near the vents, and the hairs hold warm water neat it when it ventures away, or maybe it lives outside the hot zone and the hairs hold cooler water near its body when it approaches the vents looking for food. Maybe the hair is a defense mechanism rendering it inedible to some sort of predator."I say shoot'em all and let God sort it out in the end!Comment
