If I were Prof Humphrey, I would observe their behaviour for longer periods of time, say, a few hours a stretch. A few minutes just don't cut it.

the article said their hands were calloused. I think this is real.

It said the parents were related too. And they aren't even from west virginia.

Their backs are arched like that because our legs are longer than our arms. I don't think it's possible for humans to walk on all fours and not look awkward.

Children raised by dogs or wolves by contrast, for instance, tend to walk on their hands and knees.

Just like fallin in love is.

                This must be bull.

                1. why do they walk on their palms not their knuckles, if this is genetical?

                2. why on their feet not their knees, if this is also a bit practical?

and the fact that they can dress themselves. But the article did say they have callouses on their palms.

They also said that German twit they found on that beach in England was a piano virtuoso, later it turned out he just kept hitting one and the same key. The first news item is usually full of sh*t. Alas, many news stories never grow beyond one item.

ha ha, never heard that story. probably for good reason.

I'd like more specifics, but I guess I'd have to watch the BBC2 documentary march 17. . I really do wish we could get the BBC channels in the U.S.

The "piano man" in Kent? that was one good laugh.

They thought he must be some myterious man from the future or something. Turned out to be some suicidal gay Bavarian. Typical media blow-up.
