I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of Christianity heads back into one large revised church again.
      No.

As it is, Christianity is already pretty well dominated by Catholicism. Sometimes in America or northern Europe it's hard to remember, but there are a billion Catholics out there.

Fine to you want me to be more specific and say probably mostly catholic influenced because the protestants don't make up anywhere near a majority, especially with all their splits? I didn't say which Christian values would make up a bulk of that large church, whether they be Catholic, mormon or whatever.

Honestly, I've still a fond spot for Catholicism. Turns out there was a church nearby, got the ashes.

I have yet to figure out what I'll really be giving up for Lent.

i dont know crap bout lutherens but i will say the catholics are getting lazy. The priest that came to the place i was at that was giving ashes for this day was using a cross stamp and a stamp pad. i was like how funny is this, an assembly line of people being poped in the head with a rubber stamp of a cross

SDAs recently have started talking about fasting

don't know if it is related..

I know that SDAs ae one of the more uncatholic groups.. (I knew some very anti Catholic ones ~12 years ago)

I had a rather humiliating experience at work tonight — I got back from supper and, upon seeing a co-worker with a large, black mark on her forehead, went over to her, all concerned and whatnot, and asked if she'd bumped her head, because it looked bad.

Well, it turns out she's an observant Catholic! And my boss! She took it all in stride, though, since I really thought she'd gotten hurt or something.

Thought of that answer yesterday, but too many similar ones were already posted on that thread.
