Simple question. I know if it was either that or poverty and starvation, most of us would choose the work, but simply as a moral question, would you?
If not, why not? Any reasons other than pacifism?

There are a lot of defense industries here. They've made lots of just plain people killing bombs in the past, but now the focus if not the actual majority of production is on bombs and missiles that blow up other bombs and missiles.
To be fair to the defense contractors, they provide the community with hundreds of high paying jobs, sponsor all kinds of city organizations, and donate equipment and resources generously.
In the distant future, I could end up working for a defense contractor. That's not to say I have my heart set on it, but I just haven't ruled it out. Anyway it's the distant future, so today or for the lifespan of this thread I'm not worried about it.
