    Pat Quinn sucks. Toronto sucks.

Good to see that after lighting it up in the Olympics, all-world Iginla continues his torid scoring pace against a Vancouver team missing its three top defensemen.

Swedish celebration screwed the Red Wings, who, down 5 players, lost to the Sharks 5-1.

Hope they're not suffering too much jet lag for tonight's game against the Ducks.

Iginla should start taking steroids. Might help.

Sutter has been preparing for the big trade for a star center like Jokinen -- he added another low-level defenseman (the rumoured trade involves Leopold and some others).

Jokinen would be a great fit in Calgary, I think.

I hope he would resign there too. That would be keen.

Calgary and Florida have also traded repeatedly over the past couple seasons. They have a solid trading history.

                      Okay folks, post-Olympics predictions.

Who is gonna win the scoring title? How many goals will they have?

Who'll end up with the President's Cup?

1 more game = 1000 games played for Tie Domi of the Leafs, the leader among currently active players in fighting majors.

                        Yay Tie!!!!!!

                          Two different trophies:

Art Ross (most points) - Jagr
Maurice Richard (most goals) - Kovalchuk with 58. Ovechkin would be a close second pick.

Who'll end up with the President's Cup?

                          Detroit, yet again.

Who'll end up with the Stanley Cup?

Hardest one to call, I'd say. My heart goes for Vancouver, my truly realistic hopeful is Ottawa, but my gut says neither. Maybe Detroit or Dallas.

                            Go Wings!

I think Ottawa's chances took a severe hit when Hasek went down with that groin injury.

I think Philly may have a good chance... if Gagne isn't out for an extended period.

There aren't any real front runners though... with Hasek down.

Calgary is probably a player away from being in a position to "run the table". If they can make a deal for say, Jokinen, I think they'd be a in very good position to make a run. They need scoring help. If they can get a center like that to skate with Iginla... watch out.

Vancouver needs goaltending. I keep reading rumors about Luongo.

New York (Rangers)... well... I don't know. I've watched a lot of Rangers games and they just don't seem like they are strong enough to go deep into the playoffs. If any of the top teams is going to get upset in the first round, it will probably be the Rangers. Rookie goaltending, and I'm not terribly excited about their defencemen.

                              Carolina? meh... just... die... contraction

sadly, I think Detroit might have the best chance...

Nah, Detroit will fall in the playoffs again.
