    @Richelieu

    What I wanted to say:
    At first I dont pay too much attention too the subtlety of dialogue. The esthetics and meaning of the movie have much importance to me. (when I see it, one times only; but if I see a movie twice or more, I'll look more into the dialogues)

      OK. I'm the opposite. To give you an example, a buddy of mine insisted on going to see the Underworld movie that's currently showing. Although it looked good - and Kate Beckinsale in tight leather is always a + - i could have walked out of the thing after 15 minutes.

      Man that film was boring.
      What?

        I thought Saving Private Ryan had some incredible dialogue.

            Yes, thats one of them. When they finally explain to what's his name what it means.

            The soldiers talking about home.

            Ryan talking about the last time he and his brothers were together.

            Captian Miller talking about how many soldiers he has lost under his comand.

            And my favorite, when the squad is walking along the hedgerows talking about the 'brotherhood of soldiers' and the subsequent prober complaining by the sniper guy.

            Great dialogue.

              That reminds me: Good Will Hunting was pretty good too.
