      The usual suspects.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

I'm referring to the one written by Billy Wilder.

Blue Velvet has a script with superb dialogue too.

Casablanca is one of my favourite movies but I doubt that that script would have been that good if it hadn't been for that cast.

Two good scripts that come immediately to my mind are the films of Hammett's The Maltese Falcon and Albee's Whose Afraid of Virginia Wolf.

Yes. Good writing. The script must have been a joy to read as well as the watching the movie was.

I didn't particularly like Big Fish. It could have been really good, but i felt they just missed.

I personally found the dialogue to be hilarious.

The best movie classed by writing... badly I never give attention to writing in a movie.
But as far as I remember:

                              Snatch
                              Magnolia
And maybe Stranger in a train
