CIA has Bin Laden tucked away in a safe house somewhere. If he´s still alive that is. The americans only need to release some tapes now and again to give the appearance that he´s alive. Thus they can use him as an excuse for Teh War on Terrorz...

According to some quite convincing bbc reportage he is in Mecca.
        Best hiding place against westerners.

Do you think secret service from some country in Europe, Israel and U.S. know something about Iran that we dont know.
Might be, but by definition, we don't know what...

Why international country seem to walk on eggs about Iran?
        China.
Iran has cover his back by having China as main custumer for it's oil.
Iran is China's second oil provider (after Soudi Arabia). China won't let westerners intervene without reaction.

its well documented that Bin Laden is in Iran.

Saad Bin Laden, that is. Osama's son. Along with a couple of other AQ big wigs (but NOT OBL or Zawahiri). Iranians say theyre under house arrest. KSA has requested extradition, and IRan has refused. Its claimed the refusal is quid pro quo for the US holding onto some AQniks from Afghanistan that Iran wants in connection with a massacre of Iranians diplos by the Taliban in the '90s. Some of the good folks at the Weekly Standard and elsewhere claim that the big wigs are actually free, and are using Iran as a base for operations. YMMV.

The Shi'ites don't like Al Qaeda or their message of holy war against all non-Sunnis. Al Qaeda has been behind numerous bombings of Shi'ites in Iraq so it is doubtful Osama would seek refuge among the very people he has targeted in the past. No, he's in Pakistan because there are damn few other places he could go.

                  Wait a minute.

Listen to the boys from California.

He's either in Pakistan, or Afghanistan, or crossing the boarder between the two. (Look for a really tall guy surrounded by a lot of short guys with assualt rifles.)

I attribute nothing to the authority of the WS. But look at the sources quoted - the 9/11 commision, the WaPo, the Clinton admin, etc.

He has the entire heart of eurasia to hide. He could be in the middle of the desert in Kazakhstan, for all we know.
