I'll buy some Carlsberg on saturday. I can't even afford it, but I will put my money where my mouth is and support our Nordic friends

I wouldn't know what to answer, I've never had either one
To us, it is the BEAST.

Carlsberg is brewed locally, so it is not so great. We drink it because it is cheaper than the imported stuff.

            Butautų Dvaro Alus

Costs 1,5x Carlsberg, microbrew from near Kaunas, unpasteurised, low gravity technology, "alive", yeast particles floating, unbeatable bouquet, rich, thick foam...

Makes you go take a dump after a few, must be the yeast

Tuborg though they are both rather substandard.

Low gravity?! Who the **** wants low gravity? High specific gravity equals high alcohol so no one wants low gravity.

it's still 5,5%, hence stronger than both Carlsberg and Tuborg, which are the subjects in this thread. I meant that to make a ~5% with high grav you'd have to add water, and also all sorts of preservatives.

                        Tuborg, obviously.

And this is one of those rare topics where I think in all fairness you must respect my authority.

Did you know that Denmark is using beer to OPPRESS THE ESKIMOS?

Tuborg. Both are brewed locally, IIRC.
