Guardian: Bush planned for war all along. & knew it was unlikely there were WMDs.
Well your ability to make students squirm is probably legendary by now so you should be OK.
I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara
For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio
The fact that we have citizens in our country who are so facist as to make other people so uncomfortable as to discourage free speech is nothing to brag about, StarLight.
I couldn't agree more. When political correctness rears its ugly head to the point where WaPo and other major US media outlets refuse/fear to call the islamic fundies on their idiocy thats a very bad thing.

“In a democracy, I realize you don’t need to talk to the top leader to know how the country feels. When I go to a dictatorship, I only have to talk to one person and that’s the dictator, because he speaks for all the people.” - Jimmy Carter

Oh wait, how does this go again? "I love the US but I hate its government" or the classic "The US is great but Bush has got to go." Well guess what? We elected that "idiot" and the majority of the US obviously liked him enough to put him back in the presidency so it's a little hard to love America but hate the government because all you're loving is your own liberal, twisted interpretation of what America is.
It's dangerous to automatically, and unquestionably, assume that majoritarian rule always brings just, good results.
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

Or how about in the past, when some Republicans have actually tried to imply that Democrats are passive and willing to bow to terrorism when some Democrats have brought up legitimate questions or legitimate viewpoints that are different from the Bush administration the Bush yes-men??
But I agree with you -- Islamic fundies are dangerous. The mainstream Muslims need to become more empowered to displace the fundies.

Krazyhorse I'm guessing you're on a college campus. The fact is that there are certain liberal bastions where you can get away with saying America is the root of all evil and come out ok.
Crazyhorse is actually very pro-American though he has certain political beliefs which don't corrispond to right wing talk radio. I guess that is where you get confused.
He typically is very open minded and speaks out aginst bigotry and anti-Americanism just for the sake of being anti-American.

Again, you keep repeating the same **** over and over and using your trademarked thumb sign without really any substance. Though when you look at all your other posts I guess this is the norm for you. No matter how many thumb signs you give or how many little LOL smileys you put in it doesn't help to prove your point. It's probably best to wait for someone to come by and help you out which I think is what you're doing.

We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution. - Abraham Lincoln
I got an impression of a newspaper. A negative one. I chose, therefore, to mostly avoid it.
Sandman - if you don't see what I'm talking about w/regard to the Guardian, fine. It's all in my head. I'm just a crazy American cowboy who doesn't understand. Pity me.
NYE - thanks for trying. Waste of your time, though.

How about comparing with any other major power.
But we pretend we're better than all that and hold ourselves to a much higher standard. You can't then turn around and say, we're just another superpower, when someone trie to show you how you fall short of meeting that standard.
