I find Pepsi sweeter, particularly Pepsi Max from all its artificial sweetner. I haven't even seen yet alone tasted some of the drinks people here are talking about...

Pepsi stock is rocking while Coke stock is in a 8-year long slump.

But this poll shows that Coke is and will be more popular than Pepsi.

If you believe water resource will be even more important in the future than oil, maybe that's your chance to make some serious money.

that's because Pepsi also is Frito-Lay, Dorrito, and Quaker Foods. They use to also hold Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and some other fast food until that was pulled out as a seperate entity.

                      Coke is just coke.

Pepsi has always tried the more diversified strategy while Coke keeps its concentrated one. Since the Coke has much higher margins, Coke's strategy makes sense until their is sufficient growth in Coke consumption. But once the growth stalls and its shares are trading at lofty valuations, bad things happen for investors.

Taco Bell and Pizza Hut are no longer part of Pepsi. They have been spun off in mid 90s in a new company called Yum Brands.

                              Beer.

Coke is good for settling the stomach the next morning after drinking too much alcohol. So coke wins.
