Yep, and middle school boys spend all day talking about sports instead of pondering weighty constitutional issues.
Ban NHL, NFL and NBA, I say!
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

sports are at least about teamwork, and accomplishment. Not about how your worth comes from how you look.
and besides most boys with any sense quickly learn that theyre never gonna make a living in sports, and while its a nice hobby, it doesnt affect your life. Girls have to face the degree to which their life chances ARE affected by how they look.
The parallel issue with boys now is how much time theyre spending on video games.

by the way, did the woman protesting actually call for Hooters to be banned? I dont think so. Shes merely expressing her freedom of speech.

The English have fallen on hard times when they can't even figure out Latin . Though the funniest part is that England's legal system has stare decisis as well!

Most boys with any sense. That's a surprisingly small percentage in my experience. Anyway, attractiveness is certainly a career-booster for either sex. Since men still control the majority of management positions, it's much more of a boost for up-and-coming women. Until, that is, the CEOs of America all come out of the closet.
The feminist movement is all about giving women more life choices. In the OP, the woman on the left is obviously a feminist while the one on the right is not .
I was so disappointed when a f*cking Hooters opened in Shanghai. Now some Chinese people think this is a common type of restaurant in the USA (just like they think most Americans eat hamburgers or steak every night for dinner). It's just another addition to the growing pressure on Chinese women to be thinner and thinner (yes, even in China!). I also get asked in class to explain the meaning of "hooters" (maybe I should reply "just the same as 'tatas' ").
And yes, they had to change the physical requirements for a Hooters waitress here because Chinese women ... um, let's just say their hoot isn't as large as a typical western women's.
From what I gather, the most surprisingly large body parts at Shanghai Hooters aren't found on the waitresses, but on the backsides of the middle-American customers. After you live in Asia for a while, it can be shocking (and a bit disgusting) to see the awesome enormity of the average American posterior.
The food at Hooters sux. The women and the food at Ken's Wing House are much superior.

As long as you bring it up:
Are there Chinese buffets in China? I think I know that the average Chinese family buys its own groceries and cooks for itself, but if they wanted to, could they drive (bike) down to China Chan and fill up on chow mein, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, etc?
